Biography

In only two years at Skaja & Daniels, Tri rose to become the Managing Partner of Skaja, Daniels & Luu, LLP, where he currently specializes in civil litigation with a focus on personal injury, business, employment, and immigration law. Tri also has experience in construction, real estate, family law, and business transactions. Tri’s meteoric rise to partner was due in part to Tri’s collaborative, but firm litigation style, which emphasizes creative problem solving along with zealous advocacy. A career litigator, Tri is not afraid of court, while at the same time offering a genuine, client-focused approach to the law which instils confidence in his clients. As an immigrant from Vietnam fluent in Vietnamese, Tri is also dedicated to serving the legal needs of the local Vietnamese community in San Diego, offering ethical and zealous representation to those facing financial or cultural barriers. He volunteers with the Community Law Project at its Rosa Parks branch, providing free legal services to underserved Vietnamese clients, while also providing pro-bono services to Van Lang, a Linda Vista based Vietnamese language school.

Tri graduated from California Western School of Law in 2020 and was admitted to the State Bar of California in 2021. During law school, he clerked for Judge Timothy Taylor and the San Diego City Attorney’s Office, where he second chaired several jury trials. Tri holds a bachelor’s degree in business management from National University, with expertise in business finance. He currently serves on the boards of the Escondido Chamber of Commerce and the Legendary Lion Dance Association, and the Village Social Society, all non-profits which focus on helping build his local communities in the North County area. Outside of work, Tri is a new father who enjoys spending time with his family and pursuing hobbies like snowboarding, airsoft, and investing.
